Details of The Writers In Oxford Christmas Book Fair
Venue: The Corner Club (formerly the QI Club), on the corner of Turl Street and St.Michael's Street, Oxford.
Date: Saturday 22nd November (this coming Saturday)
Time: 1.30pm
Mary Cavanagh and Jane Gordon Cumming of the Oxford Writers Group, wearing their Writers in Oxford hats, will be pleased to see you at the above event. They will be talking at 1.30pm on a topic of 'Publication Alternatives'. What if your publisher lets you down, or you can't find one in the first place? Don't sit in a corner and be miserable. There are many exciting alternatives.
Mary and Jane will be talking about their successful publishing experiences, as represented by their own novels, A Man Like Any Other - The Priest's Tale and A Proper Family Christmas, plus the two Oxford Writers Group anthologies, The Sixpenny Debt and Other Oxford Stories, and The Lost College and Other Oxford Stories.
Copies of all our books will be available for sale, so we hope to see you there. With the horrid credit crunch upon us what better Christmas present can you buy for someone than a book? A Proper Family Christmas IS the ultimate stocking filler. There will also be an array of books from the members of Writers In Oxford so there will be something for everyone.
